ABOUT ME

How it started

My journey as a wedding celebrant Greece started back in 2017, while in Guernsey. There, amidst the enchanting backdrop of Herm Island's Shell Beach, I witnessed a couple articulating their love in a way that was both profoundly personal and beautifully unique. "Such depth," I thought, watching them between a sea of flowers, family and friends. It got me inspired, thinking what a wonderful way to celebrate your mutual feelings for one another.

Hence, the experience sparked something within me. A realization of the extraordinary way two souls can express their intertwined emotions. And at that moment, I felt a calling – to become a celebrant to become a celebrant and offer symbolic wedding ceremonies and not only. Today, I am based in Chania, Greece but I travel wherever my couples want me to go. Even, to Lapland.

I commit to genuinely knowing each couple I work with, because the essence of every ceremony lies in authenticity.

Therefore, our values shape the stories of our lives. In choosing a celebrant, it's important to find someone whose core beliefs align with yours. It paves the way for a ceremony that genuinely mirrors your bond and marks the onset of your wedded journey.

My values as a celebrant in Greece are

Adventure. Connection. Celebration. Joy. Inclusion. Revelry.

Adventure also means thinking outside the box. It isn’t necessarily about hiking or riding bikes. It's about breaking away from conventions and daring to live authentically, unshackled by societal molds. Connection is the foundation of every ritual, whether it's a shared laugh, an intimate story, or a candid selfie before the ceremony begins. Connection is the anchor of all ceremony. Celebration means leaning into the fun and the emotion of a ceremony. This involves embracing the depth of feelings, letting smiles stretch and tears flow freely. Joy means pure happiness in the moment. Inclusion means you are safe with me. Every individual, regardless of their background, beliefs, or identity, is celebrated with me. The doors of ceremony swing open for the LGBTIQA+ community, various faiths, cultures, and ages. If two hearts are willing to commit, I'm here to celebrate them. Also, revelry is about reveling in the magnitude of the commitment, celebrating the monumental act of marriage.

So, these are my values as a wedding celebrant Greece. What are yours? What drives your story?
